Which park is best for 7 yo girl...more of a daredevil, likes I-Carly/Wizards of Waverly Place more than princesses now? Was infatuated with Little Mermaid for 2/3 years...only have one day at park. Was told Magic Kingdom not to be missed. H.S. be better?

    Hello Deana,

Sounds like your seven-year-old and my daughter are one in the same. Seems like only yesterday they were prancing around in tiaras, right?

Will this be your daughter's first visit to Disney? If so, I will tell you that Magic Kingdom is a must do! Even though our daughters' interests may have shifted a bit, we all still know they are true princesses, right? Seeing Cinderella's castle will truly make her eyes light up. And to satisfy her daredevil side, your daughter will love Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain. (And so you know, I still take my little one on Dumbo. You never outgrow a classic!)

Now, if this isn't your family's first trip, then I won't lie. Hollywood Studios is my daughter's favorite park, hands down. She enjoys interacting with the Citizens of Hollywood along Sunset Boulevard. She insists on watching all of the live shows like "Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular." And she tests her bravery on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. And your daughter can still get her Ariel fix at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

It's a tough decision! But I know no matter what you choose, your daughter will be thrilled because you were generous enough to take her to Disney!

    Enjoy your visit!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
