Hi Laura,
When someone asks which theme park to visit on their Walt Disney World, I almost always recommend that if it will only be one theme park, it should be
Magic Kingdom. Regardless of age, this theme park is where all the magic began in Florida and is what most guests associate with Walt Disney World.
After that, for the other theme parks, I believe that there is something for everyone and that it truly depends on your unique traveling party which other theme park you will choose. If your children love animals, a day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is likely in order. There, you can experience Kilimanjaro Safaris to see exotic animals, and there are many other opportunities to see animals as well. If your children love either Disney Junior or Star Wars - or both! - try a day at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, which offers entertainment, attractions, and character opportunities with both of these worlds. Finally, if your children are interested in cultures from around the world, as well as some gentle attractions for the whole family such as Spaceship Earth, a day at
Epcot is in order. I will say that at all of those ages, my daughter would have likely chosen a day at Epcot - but this is just our family!
I recommend that you take some time to view the
Walt Disney World planning video online. This will give you an idea of what is available in each theme park, and hopefully one will stand out as the theme park that will be a good place for you and your family.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Laura!
