Can you park at the Beach Resort and pay/enter admission to Epcot at that location if you are staying out of town? We are seniors who cannot walk long distances and thought we remembered having entered in that area before. Please advise. Thank you.

    Hi Connie,

I am so happy to hEAR you are planning an upcoming trip to Epcot, which just happens to be my favorite Walt Disney World Theme Park. Exploring all the nooks and crannies of the eleven country pavilions which make up World Showcase is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon and evening at Walt Disney World.

Connie, unfortunately it will not be possible for you to use parking facilities at Disney's Beach Club Resort while visiting Epcot, as parking here is reserved exclusively for guests of this Resort as well as those guests who may be visiting for brief periods, such as for dining reservations.

However, there are a number of different parking options at Epcot. Should you wish reduce walking distance from your vehicle to Epcot's touch point entrances, preferred parking may be a good option. The current price of daily preferred parking at Epcot is $40 daily (for cars and motorcycles) versus $20 daily for standard parking.

Another option in the event you have a disability permit for your vehicle is to use disabled parking, located close to the park's main entrance.

Regardless of where you choose to park, my main concern if you and your companion are not able to walk long distances is how you will manage once you arrive at Epcot, as there is definitely a far bit of walking involved in order to fully experience this Park. Therefore, I highly recommend that you plan to rent a Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) upon arrival. ECV Rentals are available at all Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Disney Springs on a first-come, first-served basis. This will ensure that you have the best possible experience during your Epcot park touring.
