Hi there, Nancy, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you popped by with your question.
How exciting that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World with your daughter so soon! I absolutely LOVE soaking up the magic with my parents. They're the ones who introduced me to Disney World over 30 years ago, and I always say I have them to thank for a lifetime full of magic! I have such wonderful memories of our trips together back then, and it's just as special to visit together now.
Nancy, I totally understand wanting to spend as much time together as possible. After all, making memories is what it's all about! Unfortunately,
parking at Disney Resorts Collection hotels is limited to registered hotel guests only. The exception to this rule is if you're dining at a resort and have an advance dining reservation. Since
Disney's Art of Animation Resort doesn't have its own table service restaurant, your daughter won't be able to park there.
I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, Nancy, but your daughter still has several options! Since she's staying at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, your daughter can park her car in the parking lot there. This would allow her to take the bus from her resort to meet you at EPCOT. Alternatively, she can drive herself and park in EPCOT's parking lot. As a registered Disney resort guest, she'll enjoy complimentary standard theme park parking.
Now, I'm a HUGE fan of the
Disney Skyliner. There's just something extra special about soaring over Disney World on your way to a magical adventure! So if your daughter wants to experience this incredible highway in the sky, I have some great news for you both. Your daughter is welcome to ride the Skyliner, no matter where she's staying!
For my family, the Skyliner is just as exciting as any theme park attraction. But it's also a great way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks! If your daughter wants to check out the Skyliner, take it as an opportunity for a little rest and relaxation. Simply board the Skyliner from your station of choice, and you'll be singing "You Can Fly!" before you know it! It's a great chance to rest your feet, enjoy the breeze, and settle in for some mother-daughter chitchat. In the market for a character meal? Consider riding the Skyliner to Disney's Riviera Resort for my family's favorite breakfast,
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. This gorgeous restaurant offers delicious food, beautiful views, and plenty of hugs with Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald!
I hope this information is helpful, Nancy, and that you and your daughter have a fabulous trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other planning questions, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney! I am always happy to help!
Adventure awaits,
Allison
