    Does the park accept cash

Hey there, hi there, Sonja! Welcome to planDisney. You've stopped by the right place to get answers to your planning questions!

It looks like your visit is just around the corner! The pumpkins are out, and spooky season has brought the happiest haunts to Disneyland Resort. I am happy to share that Disneyland Resort is not cashless, and shopping and dining locations throughout the resort will accept cash. In fact, there are ATMs located both in the parks and throughout the resort. If you are getting low on funds and prefer to continue to use cash, you can easily find the locations in the Disneyland app. Use the search feature to type in "ATM", and the informational page will have the option to find the nearest ATMs on the map.

While cash will be just fine for your visit, there are a few instances where you may want to have a card or debit card option handy as well. If you haven't already purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass and plan to once you arrive, that purchase is done through the Disneyland app. The app also has mobile ordering, which happens to be one of my favorite and most helpful features to save time. This feature allows you to mobile order your food from participating locations and easily pick it up during a return time while avoiding the line. The mobile ordering and merchandise mobile checkout accepts major credit cards, Apple Pay, and even Disney Gift Cards or Disney Rewards Redemption Cards.

Sonja, I hope this information helps you prepare for your visit. Be sure to check out the Halloween Time Foodie Guide ahead of your visit so you can make a list of all the treats you want to try!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
