Hi there, Amy!
The
Disney Dining Plan allows you to advance-purchase a given number number of meals and snacks. This allotment is on based on the number of nights you are staying and the "level" of meal plan you have purchased.
Every person listed on a given Resort room reservation
must also be on the Dining Plan.
Your
Key to the World card electronically monitors the number of meal entitlements left for the members of your travel party. Following each meal, you'll receive a receipt that displays the number of meals remaining for each room on the reservation.
Meals and snacks may be redeemed in any order during your stay until the balance is at zero or until midnight of the night you check out, whichever comes first.
As part of your package, you will receive:
Two Quick Service Meals, per night of your resort stay
One Snack, per night of your resort stay
One refillable mug
Since you do not eat breakfast, lunch and dinner are perfectly fine. A quick service meal includes an entrée and a non-alcoholic beverage. Lunches or dinners also entitle you to dessert.
Snack options are clearly marked at most shops and restaurants, but when in doubt, just ask. The Cast Members are great for keeping up with changes to the plan.
Your refillable mug entitles you to unlimited free refills of non-alcoholic self-serve beverages at your home Resort hotel.
It's a great way to maximize your dining dollars ahead of time -- and enjoy lots of the great options Disney has to tempt your tummy!
See you later, celebrator,
-Deborah B.
