My parent's 28th wedding anneversary was last month. I want to have a lady and the tramp journal signed by characters for them as a surprise (they had a lady and the tramp drawing made for their 3rd ann. @ WDW). Could someone at my hotel help get this done

Hi Nicole!  What a lovely thought to do something special for your parents on their 28th anniversary. They obviously have some fond memories of time spent at Walt Disney World.

Most resorts might be able to give you a picture of a character such as Mickey Mouse but it would be very difficult for them to be able to go and find the characters to get their autographs for you. As you can imagine all their guests would be requesting this all the time and they just don't have cast members who have the time.

I think it would be even more special if you made a journal and took it with you each day and as you found characters you had them sign it.  I know keeping it a secret from your parents will be the challenge but you could disguise it in some way and pull it off. Wouldn't they be surprised at the end of the trip when you presented this to them!  You can check at Guest Services in each park to see when and where specific characters will be having meet and greets that day.  If you are looking for the fabulous five or so at one location your best bet is Epcot's character spot in Future World. You can find Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and more but get there early as the line does grow shortly after the park opens.

Good luck with your wonderful gift to your parents and enjoy the journey!
