Hiya Chandler,
Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to answer your question today about one of my favorite topics, annual passes!
The Florida Resident
annual passes, Pixie Dust, Pirate, and Sorcerer are a really great option for Florida Residents to experience more magical visits at Walt Disney World Resort (we love ours)! I spoke to a Cast Member, and they confirmed that since the Pixie Dust, Pirate, and Sorcerer passes are exclusive to Florida Residents, anyone over the age of 18 will need to provide their own
proof of residency (valid proof of residency must show that anyone wanting to purchase resides at a residential address in Florida). Also, Guests who reside in the same household must provide proof of the same Florida residential address. Said more clearly, both you and your wife would need to provide proof of Florida residency to purchase and use one of those three annual passes; you cannot share one. Lastly, I looked at the forms listed on the website, and a marriage license is not listed as an accepted form of proof of residency, so it would not be sufficient for purchasing and using a Florida resident annual pass.
I hope this was helpful, Chandler. I know you mentioned you were already Annual Passholders, so I hope that you continue to enjoy your Disney Incredi-Pass. Not having blockout dates is always my favorite part of the Incredi-Pass because, even though the Pixie Dust Pass allows you entrance on weekdays, not all weekdays are included. There are still quite a few
blockout dates that fall on weekdays (especially peak days and holidays). Even as a Florida resident, I’ve found that the blockout dates of the Pixie Dust Pass (and sometimes Pirate) don’t align with my travel plans at all, so they end up not being the right choice for my family and me. Having an Incredi-Pass provides much more flexibility to visit whenever you want, which factors into our decision-making process. I hope you have a magical day. If there is anything else you need, please come back to see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
