My parents are taking our family to Disney World and we would like to do something while we are in Disney to thank them. We wanted to do the Ferrytale Wishes Cruise but it doesn't look like this is available when we are there...any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi Leandra!

How wonderful and generous of your parents and so very thoughtful of you to want to thank them.  If you're thinking of something along the lines of Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise, I highly recommend a specialty fireworks cruise.  I have done the fireworks cruise at Magic Kingdom Park and the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth cruise at Disney's Epcot and they are both fantastic.  These boats can hold up to 10 people for one price and includes a boat captain as well as snacks and drinks.  You'll sail around for a little bit before the fireworks start and then "anchor" in the perfect spot for a front row view of the show.  For more information or to make a reservation, call (407) 939-7529.

If you have smaller kids with you, the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage is tons of fun!  The party starts at Disney's Contemporary Resort where you'll feast on a variety of salty and sweet treats and have a couple of character meet and greet opportunities.  After the pirate party, you'll set sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon as your crew sings songs and plays trivia before the fireworks begin.  We have done this a handful of times, twice with my parents, and it was a buccaneer blast every time.

    Have a magical day!
