My parents are staying at Shades of Green next week. They made reservations at Victoria and Albert's. What is the best way to get there?

Your parents are in luck because transportation between those two particular resorts is really rather simple.  Shades of Green is a Magic Kingdom resort area hotel, as is The Grand Floridian.  Shades of Green is also within walking distance from Disney's Polynesian.  One option available to them would be to walk to the Polynesian, and then board the monorail for a quick ride over to the Grand Floridian (the very next stop).  The walk to the Polynesian from Shades of Green is a pleasant one that takes about ten minutes or so.  If it's a pleasant evening, they could always walk the remainder of the way.  There is a lovely paved walkway between the Polynesian and The Grand Floridian that winds its way past the wedding pavilion.  Walking time between the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian is also about ten minutes.

Please pass along my wishes for a magical anniversary trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
