Hello! My parents are staying in Florida for the winter. We will be at living at Animal Kingdom Lodge at the end of January. Is it possible for them to spend some time with us at the hotel and enjoy dinner with us ( that they will pay of course). Thanks!

    Bonjour Genevieve,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow visitor de la Belle Province! I would love to be able to escape our cold weather for an entire winter… sun, palm trees and Mickey for months on end? What’s not to love!

If I understand your question correctly, your parents are hoping to join you for a meal and to spend some time with you during your upcoming stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I’m happy to say that they can absolutely park in the Resort’s parking lot, explore the grounds and enjoy a meal at any one of the Lodge’s restaurants, including some of my favourite Disney dining locations, Boma - Flavors of Africa and Sanaa (located next door at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village).

The one restriction is that the pool facilities are restricted to registered Guests of each Disney Resort Hotel, but you can check with your Lobby Concierge in order to see whether it might be possible to add your parents as “day Guests” during one of the days of your stay.

I hope my answer helps you plan a lovely visit with your parents this January. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également nous poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
