Boo to you, Chloe!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us your question today! As a fellow international Guest, I know just how exciting it is to plan your Disney vacation, and I am honoured to be a part of that process with you. You have also picked one of my favourite times of year to come to visit: the Halloween season! Are you ready for all the spooky fun?
Something I love about Disney Parks is that there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Furthermore, Disney offers many services to ensure all guests can have the most magical trip ever. After all, if Disney taught us one thing, it's that "when you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are. Anything your heart desires will come to you."
The Disability Access Service is meant for Guests who cannot stay in conventional lines for extended periods. Typically,
this service is not available for people who require a wheelchair or scooter as they should either be able to wait in line or ask for a return time based on the current wait time. With that being said, I highly recommend stopping by Guest Relations on your next visit to talk to a Cast Member. Indeed, they are the ones who can help you
determine the best service for your parents and whether or not they would qualify for DAS since the use of a wheelchair is not the solution. You can find Guest Relations Cast Members at the main entrance of any park, before and after scanning your ticket, and at Disney Springs! Once you land in Florida, you can even
register for the video chat online with a Disney Cast Member to discuss this in the comfort of your hotel room.
Now, let's talk about some of the spooky offerings you will be able to experience on your upcoming Disney vacation! One of the ways that you and your family could experience the Halloween season without having to wait too long would be to go to the
special after-hours events! Indeed, these special ticketed events have reduced park capacity, dramatically lowering the wait times for the most popular rides. That way, you can experience spooktacular offerings, such as Halloween fireworks and parades, while also going on all of your favourite Magic Kingdom Park attractions. You might even get to trick-or-treat around the park and dress up for the occasion. The special after-hours events are my favourite ways to get the most out of my Disney vacations!
I hope this was helpful, Chloe, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out! Much like grim grinning ghosts, we always love to come out and socialize!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
