Hi Lisa!

At the beginning of this year, Walt Disney World began switching over to hard plastic ticket media. If the ticket you're referring to is hard plastic, it is most likely one of these new tickets. This new generation of ticket media uses RFID (Radio Frequency) technology. With RFID tickets, you can utilize the touch point scanners or the original park turnstiles.
