Mom and Dad planning vacation

    My parents and I purchased our tickets separately. We’re now trying to book fast passes and it won’t let me link the tickets to our party. I see they would have to reassign their tickets. Do they reassign them both to me then? I am confused at this part

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I am sure that you are excited to start making those FastPass+ plans, so I can see why your technical difficulty is frustrating. We can work through it, though!

    First, you may find that the quickest fix to a problem with your Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets is to get technical assistance via telephone. Head to Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets, then scroll to the bottom of the page, where you'll find the number for assistance. Explain your purchase and the error message you are getting, and a Cast Member will be able to sort it out for you.

    A cause of your glitch could be that your parents have set up a My Disney Experience Account on their own (perhaps when they purchased their tickets), and so their Theme Park Tickets are assigned to them there. You may have created your own My Disney Experience account that includes your parents as well, thus creating a second identity for them. (The easiest way to see if this is the case is to look at icons for each person. If they chose specific characters for themselves, but you see something different, they may have two identities in the system.) If you suspect duplicates, choose "Update" next to the two duplicate identities in your account, then select "Remove from This List". Next, select "Add Guest", and send your parents an invitation to join your Family & Friends List. You can do so by sending the invitation using the email address they used to set up their account.

    Another solution, if it is an option on your screen or theirs, is for them to, indeed, reassign their tickets to you. Once you have multiple tickets in your My Disney Experience account (as if you purchased all of them), you will be able to assign each ticket to an individual on your Family & Friends List. Once your parents reassign their tickets, you'll find those tickets in your My Disney Experience account, listed under "MagicBands and Cards". Then, assign those tickets to your parents as listed in your account.

    If you set up your Friends & Family List correctly the first time, though, yet you are having difficulty linking tickets anyway, call that number referenced previously. (Perhaps Stitch got into the system, and you need a little extra help undoing his damage.) Our Cast Members can sprinkle a little pixie dust and get you up and running in no time!
