Parents @ Pop Century and I'm making a list of activities outside the park for them. They are nervous about transportation system and don't "get" how big WDW is. From Pop, how would I tell them to travel (w/Disney transport) to Boardwalk?

    Hi Laura!

From Pop Century, the easiest and fastest way to get to the Boardwalk is via a taxi.  I have found taxis to be easy and relatively inexpensive when traveling on Walt Disney World property.  If your parents are worried about transportation, you really should consider this option.

However, it can be done via Disney Transportation as well.  From Pop Century, they could take a bus to any theme park or to Downtown Disney.  There they would transfer to a bus going to the Boardwalk.  As you can imagine, this can take some time since two buses, including the wait for two buses, is involved.

It is very easy to get to the Boardwalk if they visit on a day they are visiting Epcot.  In that case, they can exit out of the International Gateway entrance at Epcot, located between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions.  After leaving Epcot, they can walk or catch a boat to the Boardwalk.

By the way, the Boardwalk is particular beautiful at night.  If the weather is right, the stroll around Crescent Lake is very relaxing and fun.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
