My parents are planning a vacation for the whole family for May 2012, they are planning on booking and paying for the park tickets and our resort room. However, my husband and I want to do the Dining plan, is there any way we can purchase this seperately?

In order to add the dining plan, you need to book a package that includes a WDW resort room and at least 1 day of park admission.

Since your parents are generously offering to pay for the tickets and resort room, I would have them book your package separately.

They can price the vacation with and without the dining plan so you know the exact cost of the plan.

Then pay your parents directly as they can apply the funds to your specific package any time prior to 45 days before your trip. At 45 days before your vacation, the cost of the package will be due (minus the amount that was used as a deposit).

    Have a wonderful family vacation!
