Going with DH and Parents in October. My dad is hard of hearing (and refuses to get a hearing aid!) so I wanted to know what restaurants you suggest that are quieter/easier to hear conversation. Don't necessarily need to be fancy/romantic. Thanks!

    Hi, Ashley!

I've taken a look at the various restaurants throughout the resort and provided suggestions below. Of course, as far as the noise level, it's really going to depend upon how crowded the restaurant is when you're there.  For that reason, I would recommend dining at odd hours such as a late breakfast, a mid-afternoon lunch or an early/late dinner.  Keep this in mind when you make your advanced dining reservations or when you're planning each day.  Here's a list of some that may be less noisy:

    Table-Service Suggestions:

    • Artist Point, Wilderness Lodge
    • California Grill, Contemporary
    • Bistro de Paris, Epcot
    • Citrico's, Grand Floridian
    • The Brown Derby, Hollywood Studios
    • Jiko, Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Narcoosee's, Grand Floridian
    • bluezoo, Dolphin
    • Captain's Grille, Yacht Club
    • Garden Grove, Swan
    • Grand Floridian Cafe, Grand Floridian
    • Tutto Italia Ristorante, Epcot
    • Yak & Yeti, Animal Kingdom

    Quick-Service Suggestions:

    • ABC Commissary, Hollywood Studios (find a table in a back corner away from the counter)
    • Columbia Harbour House, Magic Kingdom (go upstairs and find a table near a window)
    • Pecos Bill, Magic Kindgom (weave your way through the corridors to find an out-of-the-way table)
    • Boulangerie Patisserie, Epcot (grab an early lunch/late breakfast and sit at one of the tables inside the French Pavilion...the quiche is amazing!)
    • Flame-Tree Barbeque, Animal Kindgom (sneak off to one of the hidden tables in the trees)

I hope these lists help to make your dining experiences enjoyable for your family.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
