If parents have a MDX Account and grandparents traveling separately have their own MDX account but grandparents are bringing grandchildren to WDW without their parents Should they be able to see the grandchild’s magic bands

Hi Tami! I hope you're having a wonderful day. Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by.

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is always exciting, and we know how important it is to get every detail just right. It’s an honor to be part of your planning journey.

I see you have questions about how grandparents can enjoy The Most Magical Place on Earth with their grandchildren. Since my parents live very close to Walt Disney World, my children often get to experience the parks with their grandparents. So I'm excited to help you with this!

For convenience, my parents keep a set of MagicBands+ for my kids at their house. You can have multiple MagicBands linked to one person, which makes it easy for everyone to have their own. My parents also have my kids added to their Disney MagicMobile Service, so if anyone forgets a MagicBand, they can still access their Annual Passes right from a mobile device.

Make sure you are all linked together under 'My Family & Friends' in your My Disney Experience account. This makes it simple to coordinate plans and share magical moments.

My parents love having my boys connected to their account. I can't count how many times I've woken up to find my oldest son and his Papa off to Disney's Hollywood Studios at the crack of dawn, enjoying Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and making the most of their special time together. These moments create the best core memories.

To connect with them, log in to your My Disney Experience account, hover over 'My Disney Experience,' and select 'My Family & Friends.' Here, you'll see the option to 'Add a Guest.'

Once you're done, I highly recommend calling Disney to confirm that everything is linked correctly. It's easy to accidentally create a duplicate profile, so a quick call can help you avoid hiccups and keep your day as smooth as possible.

Tami, I hope this information helps and that your planning goes wonderfully. Please come back and see me if you have any other questions!

    Your personal planning companion,
    Michelle
