My parents live in FL and just bought Seasonal Passes. Are they eligible to purchase discounted tickets to the Halloween and Christmas parties as Annual Pass holders can? If so, can they purchase tickets for family using their discount?

    Hi Angelyn,

I have some friends who recently moved to Orlando and they told me about the awesome discounts that are available to Florida residents.

(They also mentioned how they recently re-connected with a bunch of long-lost friends and family members after announcing that their neighborhood was near Walt Disney World. What a coincidence, right!)

The word I got was that they are able to purchase discounted tickets to the special events (e.g. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) using a discounted rate for Florida residents. However, they said that any adult (18 years of age and older) must provide a valid proof of residency (e.g. driver's license) upon picking up the tickets. Therefore, they can purchase tickets for guests under the age of 18 using their Florida resident discount without having to prove the residency of those guests.

I'm not sure how many minors you have in your family, but you could wind up saving a few extra bucks!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek on how you can spend those few extra bucks:

Guests attending the special "hard-ticket" events (e.g. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) are able to purchase special souvenirs to commemorate the season. So, be on the lookout for cool shirts and other interesting souvenirs that'll only be available during that event.

Also, make sure you scope out the various snack depots because you may find special treats that are only available during those events!

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
