My parents are joining us for 3 days of our 7 day trip. They arrive at 9:30am and are staying at Coronado, we will be in AK. Should they meet us? They have a base ticket & I would hate to waste it on a park they may not enjoy .Where do I send them?

Hi Amy! This a hard question to answer as it is very personal in what other guests enjoy or not enjoy. Animal Kingdom happens to be one of my favorite Disney parks and always head there during our vacations. I find it a bit more relaxed and enjoyable as I know of "hidden" places to see and experience some quiet and peace away from the crowds.

What are your personal plans for that day? Were you visiting Animal Kingdom for a partial time and then heading to another park for the evening? If so then it might be best for your parents to check-into the resort and explore Coronado Springs. Rooms often will not be ready until 3pm so they will have to store their luggage with bell services and be ready to head out as is. They can swim, dine and have lunch at the resort or take a bus to Downtown Disney and explore there.

If your family was only going to visit Animal Kingdom that day then by all means they should meet you over there. They can hop on a bus and likely be at the park by 11am and in time for lunch with you.

It is impossible to know if they would enjoy this park or not. But I am sure they would love to spend as much time with you as possible no matter where it is at Walt Disney World!
