Hi! My parents are joining us on Christmas day for dinner at Storytellers Café. They will be driving in just for the meal. Can they park at the Grand Californian? Walking is difficult for them and the Downtown Disney parking is kind of far for them.

    Hiya, Nanett!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Oh, this sounds like the most magical Christmas day dinner ever! I hope that you and your family have a very wonderful meal together and that you enjoy not just their company, but also a night off from cooking and cleaning up after. I'm so very happy to share that all Guests with a Dining Reservation at Storytellers Cafe receive up to three hours (3) of complimentary parking at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This can be either self-parking or valet, but if you utilize the valet don't forget to bring a gratuity. Lastly, be sure that anyone in your crew who takes advantage of either option brings their parking lot ticket with them to dinner so that it can be validated at the restaurant.

The Holidays are such a wonderful time at The Happiest Place on Earth, and I'm so excited for your holly jolly family time. Be sure to keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog as they'll soon start to release all kinds of fun info about what you can look forward to during this time of yEAR. They even run the official Disney Parks Instagram account, which you should follow so you'll be sure to never miss a story!

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Nanett, and that your family has a wonderful holiday. Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
