My parents who are both in their 70's are joining my husband & me this Holiday season. Any recommendations on how to make this a memorable vacation, taking into account their mature age? I'd love lavish suggestions.

Hi, Eric!    Oh, how I love to hear the words "lavish vacation!"    You might want to start with resort reservations at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.    It is a beautiful resort, and during the holidays, it is absolutely stunning with its Victorian decorations, life size Gingerbread House, and soaring Christmas Tree in the lobby.    Live music is performed in the evenings.

There is amazing dining at Victoria and Alberts, Citricos, and Narcoossee's.   The ladies can be pampered at the Spa while the men can relax by the pool or take in a round of golf.    For the ultimate in luxury, rent out Grand 1, a chartered yacht from the marina for a fireworks cruise.

All the rooms are lovely at the Grand Floridian, but if you are going for luxury, book a room on the concierge floor which has personalized service and complimentary snacks to enjoy!  Take some time to enjoy the shops, the fresh floral arrangements, and the comfortable sofas and chairs in the lobby.

Other special touches would be a gift basket or fresh flowers in your rooms.    See www.disneyflorist.com to find just the right gift!    Arrange for limousine service to and from the airport.   Schedule a photo shoot with a Disney photographer at www.disneyphotopass.com so you can capture your special vacation.
