Hi Kristin!
I am so excited for your first trip with your family! I just know it will be the first of many:)
I have two options that I would recommend:
1. With your two-day tickets, spend one day at the Magic Kingdom and one at Animal Kingdom. Both parks offer a lot of attractions that your son would love. There are some roller coasters at both, but you can skip those and just do the things he is interested in. As a bonus, you will get to see where Cinderella lives! You can even dine inside her castle, with reservations at
Cinderella's Royal Table. Reservations can be made 180 days in advance, so you should book whenever possible. It's a popular place!
2. Spend both days at the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom has so much to offer! Since you will be there during a busy time, it may be that you want to take two full days to experience everything possible at that park. This way, you won't feel rushed and can save the other parks for your next visit.
A great way for your son to meet Pluto, without having to go into a park, is to schedule a breakfast at
Chef Mickey's, located inside the Contemporary Resort. The characters will come around to your table while you eat. It's such a fun restaurant!
Spend some time with him looking at the
Walt Disney World attractions online. You can filter it by age, thrill level, park, etc. He can start coming up with his game plan!
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan.
