My parents (65 y.o.) gave the ultimate gift in Sept - they are footing the bill for our entire family of 14 to DW and POR! We want to do something special for THEM .Already have royal table, cal grill, pictures and flowers! They've thought of it all! Help!

Heather... WOW! What a great gift from your parents. I can certainly understand why you would want to do something special for them in return. Luckily, it is nearly impossible for them to have "thought of it all" because there are so many ways to celebrate at the Walt Disney World Resort.

A few years ago my family had the pleasure of viewing IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth aboard a Specialty Cruise and it was truly a night to remember! You can board the boat at the Bayside Marina. After a leisurely cruise around Crescent Lake, your captain will situate the boat so that you have a nearly perfect view of the fireworks. While all things are subject to change, our cruise included light snacks and soft drinks. To inquire about current pricing and availability it is best to call Walt Disney World Recreation at 407-939-7529. If you want to make the event even more special (hard to believe that is even possible!) you can order Private Dining for the boat by calling 407-939-3160.  I can't say enough about how fantastic this experience is.

If you want more ideas, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,

I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
