Hi there, Sarah!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. If I were a kid, I would declare a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth the BEST birthday gift ever! It seems like you all have a game plan, and I am more than happy to give you more information to iron out this final detail.
Sarah, I love that your parents are sprinkling their own pixie dust on your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. As Florida residents, they may purchase Florida-resident tickets or
annual passes for your kids who are under the age of 18 years old. You all should definitely check out the
Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts web page to see what's currently being offered.
Because your kiddos are not Florida residents, on their first visits (to the theme parks or at Disney Springs), your parent who purchased the ticket will need to be present at the ticket window with
proof of Florida residency. After that day, your kiddos may use their tickets or passes at the theme parks without their grandparent being there.
AN EXTRA GEM: One of my family's favorite ways to kick off our birthday celebrations at Disney is to grab a complimentary birthday button from
Guest Relations or from other random spots like gift shops. Then, if you'd like, visit
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom Park's Liberty Square and
Disney's Days of Christmas store at Disney Springs where a Cast Member can, for a fee, customize it with a beautifully handwritten message. It's a great family keepsake!
I just know that your family is going to have so much fun celebrating at the Resort this year. If you have any questions about how to make this birthday celebration truly special, don't hesitate to give us a holler at planDisney.
I'm all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
