What if the parents want to take an excursion without the kids. Can the kids stay onboard in the kids club?

    Hi Patricia!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking this great question! Booking a "parent-only" Port Adventure sounds like so much fun! Making a date with your honey in an exotic location, letting Disney Cruise Line take care of all the details and knowing that the kiddos are well taken care of is something to look forward to!

Patricia, parents can absolutely take an excursion while the kids remain on the ship! The Youth Clubs are filled with fun for kids during days at port! When you drop your buccaneer off before your Port Adventure, just inform the Youth Counselors that you'll be leaving the ship. Also, give them the name of your Port Adventure as well as a cell phone number where they can reach you in the (unlikely) event they need to get ahold of you.

Thank you so much for sailing by with your question! If you think of any other questions while you prepare for your cruise sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
