I want to take my parents to Epcot for Valentine’s Day

    Hi Gisel,

    Welcome to planDisney!

How sweet of you to plan a trip to EPCOT for your parents for Valentine's Day! Love is in the air!

If you just plan to visit EPCOT, I suggest that you start by purchasing theme park tickets. You could also consider booking a night at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel for them. Take a look at the Special Offers to see if there is a special offer applicable for that night. If you decide to only do the visit to EPCOT, let's talk about other ways to make the visit special.

Consider a Capture Your Moment: EPCOT session. My family absolutely loved this photo session when we did it at Magic Kingdom and, with Memory Maker, we were able to access all of the digital downloads of our photos. The PhotoPass Photographer was wonderful, and we got so many adorable photos. I would also suggest that you make an advanced dining reservation for dinner. At EPCOT we like to dine at Coral Reef Restaurant, La Hacienda de San Angel, and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.

I highly recommend that you stay to watch the fireworks show, Luminous: The Symphony of Us. I had a chance to see it on our last visit and thought it was simply gorgeous. One of our girls plays cello and I cannot wait for her to see it! If you can stay for the show, be sure to find a viewing spot at least 45 minutes prior to the show.

Gisel, I do hope you are able to pull this trip together for your parents. Life is short and memories are priceless. Get those plans in place!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
