Hiya, Mike!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. Thanks for dropping by with a question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. While it might still seem far away, I have a feeling that your April adventure is going to be here before you know it, so I'm glad you're already thinking about all those details to make your vacation practically perfect in every way.
Although you still have a few months before you can book advance dining reservations or experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collection, now is the perfect time to purchase your theme park admission and book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Not only can booking early give you the most park availability for the days you plan to visit, but for me, it's also a great way to add a little Disney magic during those months when your visit feels like a lifetime away. Plus, if your plans change as your dates get closer, you can modify your theme park reservations right from the My Disney Experience mobile app –– it's quick and easy, just the way planning a great vacation should be.
Once upon a time, I was also a
Disney Vacation Club Associate Member, so you're in good company! Since being an Associate gave me access to making and modifying DVC reservations through my parents' Membership, it was a great way to get a feel for the ins and outs of Disney Vacation Club –– by the time I decided to become a full Member in my own right, I felt like a total pro. However, while you'll definitely be able to enjoy the world-class service and fantastic accommodations of staying at a
Disney Vacation Club Resort during your visit, you won't have access to any Disney Vacation Club
Member Benefits, like visiting the EPCOT Member Lounge of taking advantage of any DVC dining or merchandise discounts. To take advantage of these Membership Extras, an eligible Member, who is either the Purchaser or Additional Purchaser on the Membership, would need to be traveling with you to present their
Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card.
I know this probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Mike, but I really appreciate you visiting planDisney. If you think of more planning questions as your visit to Walt Disney World Resort gets closer, please don't hesitate to drop by again –– we're always here to help!
Happy Planning,
Amy
