    My parents and I are coming to WDW in December for Christmas 12/20-23. We have never been at Christmas. We plan on using our dining plan for the Candlelight package but I am wondering, is the Party in MK worth the extra money? Is the party happening then?

    Hi Caroline! There is no place that celebrates the Christmas season quite like Walt Disney World Resort. I was so fortunate to experience this one of a kind magic last year and I'm forever changed! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a must do experience for the holidays...you'll be blown away.

    The spectacular festive spirit of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins on select nights in early November and runs into late December. As Christmas approaches through the end of the holiday season the official party ends, but you'll still get to experience all the entertainment with just regular park ticket to Magic Kingdom.

    So based on your travel dates you'll be able to celebrate the delight of the season with snow flurries on Main Street, U.S.A., take in the excitement of Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, pose with some of your favorite Disney characters in holiday attire, savor the tasty complimentary cookies and hot cocoa and make your own special wishes as you watch the breathtaking Holiday Wishes Fireworks show...all with just a park ticket to Magic Kingdom!
