My parents are coming with us on this trip, we have two separate reservations that I have added to my MDE account since they do not have their own. We all have the dining plan. Can I do mobile ordering for them? Or will it only pull from my dining credits?

    Hi Joshua!

My parents joined my family at Walt Disney World Resort in March. We each had our own Resort Hotel package, and I picked up a lot of great multi-reservation information. (#resEARch) While you can make FastPass+ and/or Dining reservations for anyone with whom you're linked in your My Disney Experience account, some security-sensitive perks can only be accessed by those on that specific reservation, such as Mobile Ordering using Disney Dining Plan entitlements. So yes, you can only access your entitlements and they can only access theirs. But not to fret as I have two solutions.

While Disney Dining Plan entitlements are based on how many people are in your reservation, you can redeem them in any quantity you wish. If you have four people in your reservation, you can most certainly place an order for six Dole Whip Floats at Aloha Isle, one for each person in your party + 2 for your parents, with no problems. Keep a tally of how many credits you spotted your parents via mobile ordering and have them pick up the next meal or snack that can't be ordered mobile-ly.

Another idea is to create a My Disney Experience Profile for one of your parents and to connect that login to a phone belonging to someone else in your reservation, like your spouse. This way Grandma and Grandpa don't have to deal with the My Disney Experience App, you can still plan everything for everyone, and they can still keep all of their Dining Plan Entitlements balanced. To create the profile while saving all current plans, click the world 'update' to the right of one of their names in your Family and Friends List. A blue box will pop up. In the upper right corner click 'invite to connect' and follow those prompts.

We'll See You Real Soon, Joshua!
