Sophia from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My parents are buying my boyfriend and I Cal Resident passes, but I don’t have an ID. All I have is a high school student ID. Would I be able to just bring a piece of mail with my name and address on it along with my school ID?

    Hi, Sophia!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How cool of your parents to share some pixie dust with you! If an eTicket has not already been purchased, your parents may choose to give a Disney Gift Card in the amount of the selected pass type to allow you to complete the entire transaction at the Main Gate ticket booths. Otherwise, when you go to the ticket booths, each adult redeeming an eTicket for a pass with residency requirements will need to have a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residency within the eligible area. Guests purchasing SoCal Resident tickets must reside in Southern California ZIP codes 90000-93599 or Northern Baja California ZIP codes 21000-22999. Residents of ZIP codes 90000-93599 are eligible to purchase Disney Southern California Select Passports. And Annual Passport monthly payment options are available to California residents in ZIP codes 90000-96199. For ticket purchases at the parks, a valid government-issued photo ID showing an address within a valid ZIP code is required. For adults who don't have a government-issued ID, fortunately, temporary IDs are also valid! Visit the California DMV website for more information about obtaining either a driver license or identification card.

You're going to love visiting the Disneyland Resort. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival and the Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration, both going on now, are great events to start off with!

    Have a magical time, Sophia!
