My parents, brother and his girlfriend and I are going to Disney the week after Christmas. What are some activities and things we should do as well as how best to avoid the worst of the lines and where to go?

    Hello Melissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays, and I am sure you will also make unforgettable memories.

One of my favorite activities is watching the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. This event is included with park admission, but if you would like to have guaranteed seating for this amazing holiday celebration show then I suggest making reservations for a Candlelight Dining Package. While at Epcot, you can learn more about holiday traditions from other countries by enjoying Holidays Around the World throughout the World Showcase. Another fun activity is catching Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and I also never miss the chance of stopping by Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to visit their classic gingerbread house. There are many fun holiday activities at Disney Springs, where you can meet Santa himself or maybe even Santa Goofy!

To make the most out of your visit, stay at a Disney Resort hotel to enjoy benefits such as Extra Magic Hours. This great perk gives Guests the opportunity to enjoy the theme parks ahead of other Guests or later in the evening after theme park closing time. Another great tip is to arrive as early as possible, as most people like sleeping in a little, and don’t forget to make FastPass+ selections for popular attractions.

Melissa, I hope this helps you while planning. It was a pleasure answering your question, so please stop by real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
