Heigh-Ho Kelly,
Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help with your curiouser and curiouser inquiry. Guests are able to access their Walt Disney World tickets through the following options: Disney MagicBands, Key to the World cards or a
Disney MagicMobile pass. All three ways require Guests to tap or scan their choice at the touchpoint upon entry to all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. All three ways also, allow Guests to connect to Disney PhotoPass moments, gain access to virtual queues or Lightning Lanes as well as additional Resort perks such as charging privileges for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.
Key to the World Cards and Digital Passes are both complimentary options for Guests. Keys to the World cards are hard copy tickets Guests can acquire at either the Front Desk of their Walt Disney World Resort or at any of the Guest Relations/Ticket Counters located outside of all four Walt Disney World Theme parks. Each Key to the World card is adorned with Mickey or one of his Fab Five Friends and is a magical little collector's item. This hardcopy ticket will be used throughout the entire stay of their visit and, in my opinion, is the easiest and most convenient option for your and your parents. But if you want to be a little more tech-savvy then another option is creating a digital pass through the Disney MagicMobile service via your
My Disney Experience app. Guests with eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phones can design and create a digital pass to be stored on their device. Guests can share the digital pass with others in their party if they have similar devices, more specifically those with Apple devices. And if you put your Apple device in Express Mode, you will not need to open your digital wallet every time to find the ticket. Cast Members will happily show Guests, at the touch point locations how to toggle between tickets as well as share via the Apple Wallet.

Have a Practically Perfect Day,
