Are parents able to leave their children (including babies in the nursery) on the boat and leave for an excursion in one of the ports?

    Ahoy Charise –

Thanks for sailing by for a visit with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have said it before, and I will say it again: I love that Disney Cruise Line takes care of all the little details, and that includes child care! The facilities onboard for childcare include the Nursery and the Oceaneer Club/Lab and both are available to care for your little sea pups while you enjoy an excursion outside of the ship.  In general, the Oceaneer Club will be open from about 9AM until midnight most days. If your excursion is at Castaway Cay, then you will drop off your sea cubs at Scuttle’s Cove for supervised child care. The Nursery is available by appointment only, and during port days, the hours will be slightly different and vary by the ship/itinerary. Once your window for online check-in opens up, you will be able to see the specific Nursery hours available on port days. Charise, I hope that you enjoy your adult time off the ship without worries. Please come back to see us if you need any additional feedback.
