I am a parent of an 11 year old special needs girl who tires easily and has some cognitive delay. I have not been to WDW since 1979. What would be some things to plan and reserve and organize before we get there? I want this to be oh so magical for her.

    Hi Donna,

A number of fun and exciting changes/additions have been added since 1979.

I would recommend that any dining or character dining you make reservations. Character dining is always fun and my kids love it.  It is a great option for you because the characters come to your table, it will save you time/effort waiting in line for your favourite characters.  HERE is the link. You can also look if there are any dinner shows that would be of interest.  You can always call 407 WDW DINE

Your daughter might like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique if she is interested in the Princesses.

Once you arrive, pick up a Times Guide so you can see show, parade and fireworks schedule.

I am not sure when you will be vacationing, but you can always check the online calendar for the parks.  It will show what is scheduled for that day.

The entire experience will be magical for both of you.

If your daughter gets tired you can always rent a wheel chair.

Thank you for your question and have a magical vacation!
