If my parent purchased the tickets and booked the reservation for our whole group, is she the only one who can see wait times and use the Genie service on the app? If we all have our own accounts, how can we also get access to the app? Thank you.

Hi Allison! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

The good news is that anyone with a Disneyland account can download the mobile app and use features associated with the app, such as the Genie planning tool, map, mobile order, and wait times. I use it for planning purposes before I even have tickets or a reservation, so it definitely can be used by anyone. These are really handy tools that you'll want to access during your visit and will actually make things easier with the app downloaded to everyone's device.

But for the purpose of using Genie+, I find it's a good idea to have one member of the group act as a manager over the course of your visit. The manager will be the one who books the Lightning Lane Entrances and checks dining reservations, for example. However, you can all book return times if you want! It's simple to link the group's tickets in the mobile app. Click on the three-bar menu and select the "Tickets and Passes" tile. You should see an option to "Link Tickets & Passes." If it's not displaying, click the "+" and it will bring it up. From there you can either scan the ticket barcode or manually enter the ID number. Once you've linked all the tickets to a device, that person can also book and manage Lightning Lane Entrances too.

I hope that helps! I'd suggest playing around with the mobile app before you arrive, so you're familiar with how it works and are ready for the magic when you enter the gates.

    Have a magical time.
