does a parent have to pay if you have a child Under 12 for the mermaid academy? I was not told Told that when I booked and paid for my two children

    Hi, there!

Georgine, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Now more than ever is the time to visit!

Doesn't Mermaid School sound fin-tastic? This new offering at select Disney Resort hotels is perfect for kiddos wanting to go "Under the Sea" like Ariel. As Sebastian would say, "Darling it's better, down where it's wetter, take it from me!" To answer your question, classes at Mermaid School are currently $50 per person (plus tax and subject to change without notice) regardless of age. If you've already booked and paid for this special experience, your two kids will be all set to get wet!

For more mermaid magic, be sure to catch a performance of Voyage of The Little Mermaid at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Check the Entertainment Schedule, My Disney Experience mobile app, or a Times Guide at the park for showtimes during your visit. At Magic Kingdom Park, head to Fantasyland for an underwater adventure on Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. Stop by the nearby seaside grotto to meet Ariel - she just loves to be "where the people are!"

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Georgine. Please visit us again soon!
