Hiya, Amy, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm so excited for you to arrive at the
Happiest Place on Earth in just a few short days! I checked with a Cast Member, and she confirmed that
the pools at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are currently closed for maintenance now through May 7, 2022. However, I have good news, Amy! During this time, Guests staying at
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will have access and transportation to the amazing
pools of the Disneyland Hotel instead! The
Disneyland Hotel is just a short walk from Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, but it’s nice to know that transportation is provided if needed. Just ask the Front Desk, and they’ll be glad to assist.
Also, since it sounds like you’ll be arriving at the hotel early in the day, you’re more than welcome
to check-in, and if your room isn’t quite ready, you can store your luggage with the Bell Desk so you can enjoy some pool time! You can do the same thing on your departure day, if you’d like some last-minute splash time before heading home.
The retro-themed pools at the Disneyland Hotel are my family’s favorite pools at the Disneyland Resort thanks to the awesome Monorail waterslides – my children have spent hours on them and can never get enough! The two winding waterslides feature replicas of the original Mark 1 Monorail trains. Plus, there’s also a two-lane mini slide for smaller Mouseketeers to enjoy, featuring a small pool, pop jets, and fountains to play in. Personally, my favorite spot to relax is in the bubbling Mickey or Minnie Spa whirlpool. At select times, you can even enjoy food and beverage service at the pools from nearby
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill!
Best wishes for a magical, memorable visit to the Disneyland Resort this weekend, Amy!
See ya’ real soon!
