is there going to be any parades next week other than the light parade? last time we went there was one during the day.

Hey howdy hey, Rebekah, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disneyland Resort adventures begin today, and I couldn’t be more excited for you!

First, here's the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival today. You’re in luck, because you'll get the chance to experience the Main Street Electrical Parade this week before it ends its run on September 30, 2019. It has been so much fun reliving this nostalgic parade at the Happiest Place on Earth! This will be the only parade at Disneyland Park this week, with two nighttime parades daily. In Disney California Adventure Park, the Frightfully Fun Parade will occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays as part of Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. Oogie Boogie Bash is a special event which requires a separate ticket for admission.

If you’re looking for more daytime entertainment options, I have several I’d like to highlight for you! Mickey and the Magical Map and Storytelling at Royal Theatre are some of my favorite shows at Disneyland Park, offering fun for the whole family! They also offer a welcome break from the warm California sun, with plenty of shade!

In Disney California Adventure Park, head on over to the Plaza de la Familia in Paradise Gardens Park. I highly recommend the Musical Celebration of Coco, where songs from Coco come to life through singing, dancing, and storytelling. Don’t forget to head to Paradise Garden Grill afterward for some delicious seasonal treats!

Wishing you many magical moments throughout your Disney days!

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
