Jessica from SK Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Will there be parades everyday of the week still once the park flips over to Halloween on Aug 22nd?.

Hey there, Jessica! Welcome to planDisney! You’ll be at the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few months, and you’ve certainly picked a magical time to visit!

We’re all in for a treat when the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration kicks off in May! The entire resort will be shimmering in its enchanting best, celebrating 70 years of dreams coming true! It's going to be a party of epic proportions, and YOU get to be part of it!

And speaking of parties, the Paint the Night Parade is making a dazzling comeback! Main Street, U.S.A., will be glowing once again under the sparkle of a million twinkling lights. Jessica, you asked about the parade schedule during the Halloween season, and if I recall correctly from the parade's debut at the Diamond Celebration 10 years ago, it took place during other seasonal events as well. I have a feeling this illuminated parade might just light up the Halloween Time and Holidays at the Disneyland Resort events later this year too. The full schedule hasn’t been released yet, so your best bet is to keep an eye on the events calendar on the Disneyland Website or mobile app as your visit gets closer.

The 70th Celebration will also mark the return of other beloved entertainment options: Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! at Disney California Adventure Park, and Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park! There will also be a brand new show to look forward to: World of Color Happiness! If you love the vibrant energy of the Paint the Night Parade, then World of Color will absolutely sweep you off your feet!

And Jessica, since your adventure is in late August, you'll be visiting during Oogie Boogie Bash at California Adventure! This after-hours soiree is filled with mischievous fun, thrilling entertainment, and wickedly delicious treats. And the best part? It's a double celebration! You can revel in both the spooky fun of Oogie Boogie Bash and the shimmering splendor of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! With Oogie Boogie taking over California Adventure, it seems likely that the 70th Celebration fun and entertainment, including the Paint the Night Parade, would still be happening over at Disneyland Park. The events calendar on the Disneyland website and mobile app will be the best place to confirm this as your visit gets closer!

I did hear that Wondrous Journeys and Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! will take a break as we transition into the Halloween season, making way for some spook-tacular seasonal entertainment. But fear not, there will be a cauldron full of new and exciting Halloween offerings to enjoy!

I hope this helps you plan your magical adventure! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Remember, we're all ears here at planDisney! Have a truly enchanting visit, and may all your Disney dreams come true!
