If a parade is at 3pm in Magic Kingdom, is it unreasonable to make 3:35 pm reservations at Crystal Palace?

    Hi Renee,

The Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade is typically held daily at the Magic Kingdom at 3 p.m. & lasts approx 25 minutes. If you position yourself at the beginning of the parade route, you may be able to make a 3:35 p.m. reservation at the Crystal Palace.

The parades at MK can start at either of the parade route & can vary from day to day & parade. The parade route begins (or ends) in Frontierland near Splash Mountain & travel towards Liberty Square.  It turns right at The Hall of Presidents. When it reaches the hub in front of Cinderella Castle it goes to the left side of the hub. From there it heads down Main Street taking another left so that it goes around Town Square & ends near the Harmony Barbershop. Or it can begin near the Harmony Barbershop & make its way along the same route & end in Frontierland.

To find out from which location a parade will begin, stop by Guest Relations & ask. Keep in mind that parades on the same day may start on different ends of the parade route so make sure you specify  the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. You can also ask a Cast Member along Main Street when you enter the MK.

If the parade is beginning in Frontierland, position yourself near Splash Mountain but make sure you are on the side nearest Pirates of the Caribbean so that as soon as the last float comes by you can head towards POTC and make your way through Adventureland towards the Crystal Palace.  If the parade is beginning on Main Street, position yourself near the Harmony Barbershop and make your way through The Emporium (you can walk inside most of the way) down to Casey's Corner and make a left towards Crystal Palace.

This is doable but you're going to have to hustle as soon as the last float comes by you or leave a couple of minutes before the parade is over.  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
