Thank you for visiting us and for sending us your great question. There is no “official” way of being chosen as Grand Marshals or Guest families in
Magic Kingdom Park parades. These experiences cannot be reserved or paid for. Being chosen for these opportunities takes being in the right place, at the right time.
There is no secret to being chosen, as it appears that they choose families randomly. I suggest that you arrive to the park early, smile a lot, be friendly with Cast Members, wear
complimentary celebration buttons, and don your most festive Disney attire. Don't forget that with a generous sprinkling of Pixie Dust, anything is possible!
Mom’s Tip: Remember to pick up a complimentary “Happy Birthday” button for your daughter. While she may not be chosen to participate in a parade, she will definitely be showered with attention and “Happy Birthday!” exclamations all day long. She will definitely feel like a Princess!
