Do you still have the parade of lights in the magic kingdom in Orlando?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Pamela ~

The Main Street Electrical Parade was my all time favorite parade at the Magic Kingdom. I remember watching it as a little girl and I will always cherish the first time I finally got to watch it with my boys.

Unfortunately, for huge fans of the Main Street Electrical Parade, that parade came to an end at the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in 2016 before heading back to Disneyland. Currently, there is no nighttime parade at the Magic Kingdom. However, there is a brand new fireworks spectacular that debuted on May 12, 2017 called Happily Ever After.

If you have never seen Happily Ever After, you are in for an amazing treat and you will not be disappointed. This 18-minute spectacular is unlike any fireworks show I have ever seen. It combines projections, lasers, fireworks, and a musical score that will melt your heart and leave you speechless. Be sure to stake out a good spot early. You will want to be on the front side of Cinderella Castle so that you can see the projections on the castle.

Having said this, Disney is always keeping us on our toes so you never know if and when the Main Street Electrical Parade will return to the Walt Disney World Resort. I would recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news on any entertainment returning or new additions heading our way.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We'll be hEAR for you until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
