Is the parade still happening at magic kingdom? Are there any princess characters walking around or anywhere?

    Hello Patricia,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like your magical vacation will be here before you know it!

A dream is a wish your heart makes, and if you're looking for your favorite Disney Princesses, then your wishes are sure to come true when you visit Magic Kingdom. Princess Tiana and Cinderella, along with a visiting princess friend, are greeting guests at Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland. On our most recent trip the visiting princesses were Rapunzel and Elena. There is also a Royal Princess Processional several times each day, a mini parade featuring Disney Royalty. I love these cavalcades because they're short and sweet, and since they run throughout the day, you have a really great chance of seeing your favorite characters up close.

Speaking of mini parades, there are a couple of other character cavalcades during the day, Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade with everyone's favorite mouse, and Adventure Friends Cavalcade where you can see princesses like Moana and Merida, along with some other characters that you may not see all of the time. I'm excited that Festival of Fantasy Parade, the afternoon parade at Magic Kingdom, is scheduled to return on March 9! Of course, schedules are always subject to change, but you may get to see all of the beautiful floats and favorite characters make their way down Main Street USA.

EPCOT is another great park to catch a glimpse of Disney Royalty. Several princesses can be found in World Showcase outside of the countries where they live. If you'd like to dine with a princess, Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is just a short boat ride from Magic Kingdom in Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
