Hi there, Kathy. Welcome to planDisney.
I love your question, Kathy! Whether it's a grand parade featuring "sixty elephants, llamas galore, bears and lions, a brass band, and more" making way for Prince Ali, or a one-man band featuring Bert and his friend Mary Poppins, who doesn't love a parade?
Currently, the schedule for the new nighttime parade is available only through early October, while the daytime parade schedule extends to the end of October. However, there's no need to worry; I fully expect that both parades will take place in December.
I wish I had a specific date for when the schedules are updated, but it varies. Currently, the whimsical
Festival of Fantasy Parade takes place daily around 2 PM. The absolutely stunning nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight, is shown twice each night at 8 PM and 10 PM. Please note that Disney Starlight will not perform on days when
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place. I checked your schedule, and it looks like there is no Christmas party on the 17th, so you should be good to see the lights of Disney Starlight.
For now, I would tentatively plan to see the parades at their current scheduled times, but note that these times could change. It's a good idea to frequently check the
"5-Day View Hours & Events Calendar" so that you'll be among the first to know the official schedules. I truly wish I could give you a more definitive answer, but I hope this helps you locate the most up-to-date information.
Kathy, while everyone is talking about the spooky season, you are planning for the holly jolly holidays! Just today, the
Disney Parks Blog posted a
preview of the new holiday merchandise, and it won't be long until we're reading all about the delicious holiday foods we'll find around the parks and at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! Yay! Please stop by if we can help again. I'm wishing you so much fun this holiday season!
Happy planning,
Shonette
