Hey there, Aida, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for dropping by to share this question with us. It looks like you're already at the Happiest Place on Earth (Yay!), and I hope your visit is off to a magical start. I always love making time to see some of my favorite characters in parades at the Disneyland Resort.
All entertainment offerings are subject to change or cancellation depending on weather and other circumstances. The safety of the performers and Guests is top of mind at the Disneyland Resort and sometimes the show unfortunately can't go on. Sometimes (not always) there will be a smaller character cavalcade in place of the full parade for Guests to enjoy. I've enjoyed a character cavalcade on a rainy day and waived to characters taking a ride on the Omnibus down Main Street, U.S.A. You most likely won't know if the parade will be canceled until close to showtime, so keep an ear out for announcements as you wait.
I see that it's a cloudy day with possible rain in the forecast today, Aida. I really hope that the weather holds and that you will be able to enjoy
A Christmas Fantasy Parade during your visit. My favorite part of this parade is seeing all of the bakers dancing with their gingerbread creations. It's just too cute. There are so many things to enjoy during the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, I hope you're getting into the holly jolly spirit. If you can, try to catch the
Main Street, U.S.A. Holiday Tree Lighting. I watched this for the first time during my last visit and it was so magical. The tree, all of the lights on Main Street, U.S.A. and
Sleeping Beauty Castle light up together. It was truly a spectacular sight.
Aida, I'm sorry this is probably not the answer you were hoping for, however, I hope the information I shared was helpful. I'll be sending all the pixie dust your way in the hopes that the rain holds off and the parade can go on as scheduled. Wishing you the merriest day filled with joy!
