Eeeekkk, your cruise is Just Around the Riverbend, and I’m so excited for you! I bet that right now you’re in the midst of making those final cruise preparations, albeit very exciting ones! Part of those cruise preparations is gathering the required documentation and materials for your
cruise check-in, and I would be happy to share exactly what you’ll need for that.
You can find the exact date that you may begin completing your Online Check-In in your reservation details either on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or the Disney Cruise Line website. My suggestion is to have all the necessary documents and items with you before sitting down to complete your Online Check-In, as it's much easier than searching for everything after you start.
The required documents and items you should have with you to complete your Online Check-In are:
- Required citizenship documentation, such as a passport.
- The payment method that will be used on board. You will fill out a Payment Authorization Form, which will create an onboard account for you.
- Photo of each guest who will be in your stateroom, from the neck up. This photo will be uploaded.
- Travel information, such as pre-cruise hotel stays and flight information if you’re flying before and/or after your cruise. You will need your flight number as well as your departure and arrival times.
- Information for the Youth Clubs on board, if you have kids in your stateroom. This includes any health or allergy information that should be documented.
At the end of your Online Check-In, after signing your Cruise Contract, you will be assigned a Port Arrival Time, which is the time that you may board the ship on the day you embark on your cruise.
Once complete, you will be prompted to print your Port Arrival Form, which will have both your Port Arrival Time and your reservation details. You should bring both the Citizenship Documentation for each guest that you used to complete your Online Check-In, as well as the printed Port Arrival Form with you on the morning that you embark on your cruise. I like to have a handy little folder in my carry-on bag that holds these items for easy access on embarkation day.
