Hi there, Linda, and welcome to
planDisney!
I love your question, because I completely agree that the anticipation of the trip makes it that much more exciting! Unfortunately, the
Disneyland Resort isn’t currently mailing park maps to Guests. However, I have several other solutions that should help your family get their planning fix. First, you can print out the latest version of the park maps from the
Disneyland.com website. You’ll find them on each theme park’s main webpage. The link to download each map can be found on the left-hand side of the screen, adjacent to the link for Guest Services.
Here are the most current versions of each park map, though I recommend checking again right before your September visit for the most updated versions, since they change seasonally:
Disneyland Park MapDisney California Adventure Park MapMy dear friend and fellow Panelist,
Julie P., has a great suggestion for turning this into a fun activity – she recommends printing the maps on A3-sized sheets, so you have more room to see details and add comments. She even likes to add stickers sometimes, which could make for a fun project as well!
Another way to locate a hard copy of a park map is to search online sites like eBay to see if anyone is currently selling them. Just be sure to search for the latest version of the maps so the information is up-to-date. I just did a quick search on eBay for “disneyland park map,” and found the latest park maps available at a reasonable price.
Last but not least, another fun way to explore the theme parks before your visit is to
download the Disneyland app and browse the interactive map featured there. To view it, tap the location icon (second from the left) on the main screen. Tap “Show List” to browse wait times, and move around the Resort with the swipe of your finger!
I hope this information helps you and your family get excited for your upcoming visit, Linda! Just stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
