    Hi Panel, When onboard n castaway cay purchases, or payments for port excursions are charged to the onboard accnt., am I able to pay that accnt off w/Disney gift cards before they actually get charged to the credit card that is being held for the account?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and cruisin' by with a question. I'm sure you're already lining up your activities for your voyage - both onboard and at the different ports. So exciting!

    Your onboard account can definitely accept Disney Gift Cards as form of payment towards charges that are made on your stateroom account. On embarkation day, you can even stop by the Guest Services desk to drop off these gift cards so that these can be credited onto your account.

    On my last voyage, I ended up stopping by the Guest Services desk in the middle of our voyage. Honestly, I almost forgot -- since I was too pre-occupied with all the other activities on board. It's easy to forget, since you usually will put away your wallet and purse while onboard. I simply brought my Disney Gift Cards to Guest Services, and the cast member swiped it on their computer. The gift cards get credited first, and then your credit card on file will be charged for other charges that are made. I would suggest not waiting too long on your voyage... so, try to drop off the gift cards on day 2 or 3 of your trip, the latest.
