Hi panel, We’re planning a trip this June to WDW. We are considering either the All Star Music Family suite or the Saratoga Springs 2 bedroom villa. Which resort will have newly refurbished room in time for our trip?

Hello, Chia! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel; it's great to have you here.

For me, selecting the perfect Disney Resort Hotel for any upcoming trip is always a challenge. They each have their own perks, themes and benefits- it's hard to choose!

While scoring a newly refurbished room can't be guaranteed, I do have a few thoughts that will hopefully help!

If you are leaning toward Disney's All-Star Music Resort, I would request a Family Suite in the Calypso section of the resort. Construction began here in the fall which is in the preferred section.

However, if Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is more appealing, I would request your 2-Bedroom Villa to be in the Congress Park section. When my husband and I stayed there last summer, work was happening in this section and now nearly all rooms in this section are completed. The other benefit of the Congress Park area of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is that you can easily walk to Disney Springs!

Finally, I will offer up one more option. Disney's Old Key West Resort recently went through a refurbishment and all rooms are now up-to-date. While this wasn't on your original list, if you want a guaranteed renovated room, check out this resort. Here you will also find the 2-Bedroom Villa options.

Wherever you decide to call "home" during your vacation, make sure to indicate your preference for a refurbished room when you complete your online check-in. I would also give a quick call to the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line just to make sure your preference is noted.

Chia, I hope this helps as you are finalizing your resort choice. Best wishes for a trip filled with Magical memories!
